This Damascene walnut cabinet features a traditional pattern in which all segments are carved with primitive tools and inlaid with mother of pearl inlay. The technique has traditionally been passed down from generation to generation. This antique dowry chest opens up and has been modified so the front drops downs to reveal and interior shelf. This antique chest shows age with many inlay pieces missing around the design.
