Large Original Carved African Door

A powerful statement piece of the Senufo tribe, this 19th century wooden door is adorned with four panels, each one depicts a hut in the center of the door, surrounded by figures of the tribal community. These type of antique doors were used to embellished public spaces or private area of an important tribe member. The carvings on this antique African door wears an aged semi-oxidized finish. Please note: Door may show wear according to age, including cracks and other blemishes.
